Location: Brodhead,WI, USA
Overview
RES is currently seeking a Field Technician (Mechanic) based out of our Brodhead, WI office to travel throughout the Midwest region to work with local teams to train/educate on proper maintenance and conduct light repairs on trucks, trailers, light construction equipment and small engines.
What your day-to-day might look like?
* Travel throughout the Midwest, 9 field offices in 6 states. Travel to each location at least once a quarter year to repair tagged out equipment, conduct equipment maintenance and help train field staff on proper maintenance procedures of RES equipment.
* Conduct FED DOT inspections of trucks and trailers at the office locations
* Provide assistance with license registration and title
* Repair items that have been tagged out or identify/recommend replacement
* Conduct needed PM services on various equipment
* Travel to sites to Repair tracked skid loaders and attachments, UTV's, tracked mowers, small engines (ie chain saws, brush saws), gas and electric pumps, road trucks and trailers- Travel and overnight stays required
* Work with 3rd party vendors to establish accounts and form relationships as needed to support repair of assets across multiple offices.
* Assist with tracking of assets and ensures fleet readiness.
Technician will be expected to use one or more of the following to perform diagnostics:
* Scan tools and software
* Air/electric driven or hand tools
* Various pressure gauges, and diagnostic testing equipment as needed
* Laptop/iPads will be used to access technical data for purpose of diagnosis and repair as well as the completion of Repair Orders.
This position will require work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications
Minimum:
* Ability to work with diverse team and teach the basics of equipment maintenance.
* Proficient with Microsoft office applications
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Must have clean driving record
* Must have a valid drivers license- subject to MVR review
Preferred:
* Certifications related to various equipment/truck repairs
* Familiarity with FED DOT Inspection requirements
* Have your own tools
* Welding experience
* CDL drivers license
