This posting is for: ????FULL-TIME-AM Servers (7am-2:30pm) PART-TIME-Evening Servers Fieldstone at Chester Springs the areas newest senior living community opening this Summer - is seeking compassionate individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors. This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that welcomes the communitys first residents.As a Server, you will be responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. General day to day responsibilities will include- Utilizing proper food handling and food service techniques.
- Taking meal/drink orders and serving meals in a friendly and timely manner.
- Assuring resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
- Maintaining knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to residents or guests.
- Maintaining assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
- Following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Assisting with orientation and training of new food servers.
- Practicing all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Setting-up and cleaning the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
- Maintaining or exceeding standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
- Performing and completing opening and closing checklist criteria.
- Assisting in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
- Other duties as assigned.
The right candidate should be a professional who balances team and individual responsibilities and can handle multiple priorities with organizational and time management skills.While we support continued learning and enrichment, and celebrate a culture that encourages learning new skills, there are base level requirements for this position that include but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in fine dining preferred.
