The Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties Inc. is looking to fill the position of File Clerk. This non-exempt position is full time 40 hours per week, at a rate range of $20.00 per hour. The main worksite is located at 713 Union St. Hudson, NY 12534. Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (on site-possible virtual one - two days per week based on work load).Benefits include Medical, Dental, Life and AD&D plan. This position's primary purpose or contribution is to assist in the agency moving to a paperless environment where possible, as well as assist with filing all documents in a location that will increase easy access for programs, administration, and outside agencies while conducting audits, as well as making the process for claim submission more seamless and timely. Job Duties Include:
- Scan documents from different programs / departments.
- File all documents in agency electronic health record, or data storage drive following agency wide convention.
- Copy and organize all supporting documentation for the fiscal office to send out with claims, and then file agency copies (electronically or in folders as deemed appropriate).
- Assist with other clerical duties as assigned by direct supervisor or designee.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have proficiency and adaptability with computer software and web-based systems with the aptitude to learn additional systems quickly and efficiently.
- Intermediate competency in Windows operating environment using MS Office applications, database, e-mail and internet programs.
- Ability to work with a diverse population of urban, suburban and rural cultures and with community members from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
