Filling OperatorYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dutiesinclude loading and unloading trucks
- Fillingdrums & totes with chemicals
- Containerpreparation (labeling, stenciling, etc.)
- Maintainshipping and receiving logs
- Makes surethat incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
- Move rawmaterials to the production area and moves finished products to the warehouse
- Requiredto lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Must passpre-employment drug screen and background check
- Comfortablewith the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
This positionhandles both hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals by unloadingbulk tankers and railcars; filling bulk storage tanks and outbound bulk tankers;Repackaging bulk chemicals into drums, tote tanks, bags and supersacks. Much ofthis work is done outside with exposure to weather conditions.Responsible to the facility Operations Manager or delegate for thesafe and efficient performance of the functions assigned.Maintain cordial relationships with bothinternal and external sources in the best interest of the Company.Carry out responsibilities in full compliancewith all applicable Federal, State and local regulations, including but notlimited to OSHA, the National Fire Protection Agency, the Environmental ProtectionAgency, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Department of Transportation,as well as, Customer requirements, Company policy and procedures, and ISOquality system.Within the limits of the Company policies,and in compliance with all government regulations, the Repack employee isresponsible for and has commensurate authority to accomplish the fulfillment ofthe functions shown belowDutiesinclude loading and unloading trucksFillingdrums & totes with chemicalsContainerpreparation (labeling, stenciling, etc.)Maintainshipping and receiving logsMakes surethat incoming and outgoing products and material are in good conditionMove rawmaterials to the production area and moves finished products to the warehouseRequiredto lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 poundsMust passpre-employment drug screen and background checkComfortablewith the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse dutiesYOUR PROFILEEducations and Experience:
- Chemical or warehouseexperience preferred
- Forklift experiencepreferred
- Required to lift up to 50pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Job duties require the workto be performed outdoors for majority of the shift
- Comfortable with the use ofa Forklift, and general warehouse duties
- Must pass pre-employmentdrug screen and background check
- High school diploma or GED
