****Main function of job:****

To safely control various involved in precision assembly of high quality, intricate components to exacting customer requirements.

****Duties/Responsibilities:****

* Reads, understands, and consistently follows, job cards, operating procedures, and engineering drawings.

* Operates production machinery, tools, and equipment (mesh cutters, forming tools, resistance welders, parts cleaners, hand tools, part marking equipment, assembly equipment, bubble point test equipment, etc.) in accordance with prints and specifications.

* Produces the required quantity of parts within established quality requirements.

* Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.

* Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.

* Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.

* Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

****Qualifications/Training Required:****

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* At least one year of work experience performing delicate manufacturing assembly tasks requiring high precision. Often works with the aid of magnification.

* Ability to understand and work with an AS9100- or ISO9001-level Quality Management System.

* Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

* Ability to interpret and follow engineering designs and documentation.

* Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

* Common sense, self-motivated, good time manager, dedication, high degree of self-accountability.
