JOB SUMMARY

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Works within the mission, vision and philosophy. Measures, analyzes and communicates the costs, revenues and benefits for agency products and services. Participates in the preparation and analysis of financial statement and reports; develops spreadsheets in the completion of financial analysis and reporting, and maintains and utilizes data within financial software applications. Responds to inquiries about financial statements and other financial data and analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepares weekly and monthly unit and census reports for programs.
  • Participates in month-end reporting for programs.
  • Support the financial review for programs.
  • Supports the creation of budgets and budget narratives for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and county budgeting process.
  • Supports printing and updating of financial reports.
  • Supports the preparation of the annual budget including trends, forecasts and service volume (unit) projections.
  • Supports the development of assigned department budgets.
  • Work with the analysts, accountants and other team members of the Finance and Accounting department to support the Agency's financial results, its policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned to support specific department/business needs.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • A combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate of Arts or Science degree (A.A./A.S.) in mathematics, accounting, finance or a related field.

    • One (1) year of related experience.
