Our mission is to fix that-and we need your help. Job Summary In this job, you'll be the financial backbone of the company. You'll drive financial processes like budgeting and forecasting to guide decision-making, build and maintain models for detailed analysis, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in influencing strategic decisions, supporting corporate initiatives like board meetings and fundraising, and managing the company's debt facility. What You'll Do
  • Drive ongoing finance processes (e.g., budgets, re-forecasts, monthly reviews, quarterly planning) to inform decision-making
  • Build and own models for in-depth analyses and forecasting, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions
  • Assist in the company's accounting and financial close process
  • Improve operating teams' understanding of financial statements and budget adherence with thoughtful and transparent analysis and partnership
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external partners
  • Support the design and optimization of finance processes and systems
  • Assist in corporate initiatives such as board meetings and fundraising
  • Manage the day-to-day requirements of the company's debt facility
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, strategic or investment finance, accounting, or FP&A
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building models from scratch
  • Experience driving and executing on finance processes (e.g., budgets, financial reporting, performance analyses against forecast)
  • Experience with and interest in financial accounting
  • Sound business judgment and ability to bring clarity through business insights based on deep analytical rigor and attention to detail
  • Independent, motivated, and ready to be challenged by an unstructured and ever-changing environment
  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves to execute, prioritize tasks, and problem solve
  • Not afraid to ask probing questions and challenge existing processes
  • Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally across multiple teams; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and negotiating legal documents
  • Understanding of risk, underwriting, and credit principles
