Job DescriptionFinance Associate Our manufacturing client is searching for a highly talented Finance Associate to support its nationwide portfolio. This will be an onsite role in the Galleria in Houston, Texas. The company is expanding operations through strategic growth and acquisitions. Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial modeling and associated sensitivity analysis for all prospective M&A activity
- Evaluate impact to long-term equity value of various acquisitions, divestitures, growth projects, and other activity as needed
- Perform market research and competitor analysis
- Define key financial metrics within the operating businesses and build out ability to track and monitor performance of respective individual and combined businesses
- Lead variance analysis and tracking
- Assist with yearly budgeting process across the organization
- Potential for as-needed exposure to other functions, including tax, project finance, M&A diligence and others
- Assist on special projects
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Approximately 25-50% travel required
- Very strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working with and extracting useful information from large data sets
- Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, organized, and strict adherence to schedules
- Self-starter comfortable working in a rapidly growing business with desire to learn and advance operating proactively by identifying and prioritizing tasks in order of criticality
