As a Finance & Business Management, Vice President for Employee Relations, you will be responsible for the strategic and evolving agenda of your client. this includes helping to articulate and synthesize priorities and link them to clear and measurable objectives, as well as enabling and supporting the necessary business management routines designed to measures progress and impact of the function. You must be comfortable in an evolving environment, work across the organization and encourage results with urgency and discipline.
Job Responsibilities
+ strategize as a partner to the head of business and CFO in all aspects of the function: strategy, controls, people, and financial performance
+ Understand and analyze the KPI's of business demand, the strategic priorities for the business and implications of both staffing strategy for the business
+ Manage financial and headcount reporting, including managing productivity targets and identifying areas to become more efficient
+ Looking at end-to-end services across function to understand and articulate trends and key metrics
+ Analyze and communicate all aspects of performance to the Group's management team, including at town halls, off-sites, business reviews
+ Focus on quality analysis, quality data and insights
+ Manage agendas and strategically plan for team meetings, town halls, and management team offsites.
+ Support team culture and engagement
+ Manage organization announcements, newsletters, and leadership messaging
+ Partner with other Business Management and finance teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on KPI's, and understanding context and developing opinion on next steps
+ Collaborate with business partners across firm wide HR to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ BA/BS in Finance and corporate finance with at least 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services
+ Understands financial P&Ls
+ Experience in corporate financial analytics / understanding of KPI's
+ Exceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
+ Excellent oral & written communication and relationship management skills
+ Good judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, and great work ethic
+ Proactive and results-oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
+ The candidate must be a self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
+ Team oriented and ability to create partnerships
+ Ability to influence outcomes and get the best from people, even where no direct line management responsibility exists
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services
+ Prior business management or chief of staff experience
