JOB TITLE: Finance Clerk CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Finance Department IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Finance POSITION SUMMARY: Organize, enter, verify, and reconcile paper and electronic data within spreadsheet and other software applications. Facilitate information flow within the Finance Department between agency locations. Organize, verify, reconcile and file receipts, gas, agency credit card, client finance, etc. Assist with Client Finance processes including printing checks, maintain files of checks/receipts. Performs quarterly audits of program cash accounts and receives, confirms and secures funds to be deposited QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience: High School Diploma One (1) year of clerical experience in an office setting Preferred Education, Training & Experience: Associates Degree in Accounting or related field Accounting experience in a not-for-profit environment. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Functional knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e. word-processing, e-mail, Internet) Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications (Excel) Ability to perform data entry for extended periods of time Ability to identify discrepancies and reconcile information from various source documents Ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing and on the telephone Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced office environment Ability to accurately process large amounts of information within tight timeframes Ability to work independently but also function within a team environment Ability to effectively utilize time and other resources Demonstrates Strong organizational skills Is deadline oriented SALARY: $18.50- $20.50 starting rate based on experience Full Job Description Available Upon Request Benefits - Intandem Contact us for more Information An equal opportunity employer.
