Finance Coordinator Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking highly motivated individual to Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing exceptional care and support.

Flexible Schedule:

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Entry Level - Training Provided!
  • 1 year of experience in finance
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word, a plus
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent organizational skills

Essential Functions:

  • Contact and assist residents/family members with the processing of Medicaid recertifications.
  • Enters and updates tracking tool for Medicaid recertifications on a weekly basis and as needed.
  • Process and prepare financial forms for the purpose of submission, follow-up, and correct cases as needed
  • Conducting benefits eligibility interviews with residents and families
  • Educating residents and family regarding their financial obligations
  • Review and adhere to department budgets.
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
  • Review and audit financial statements and other documents pertaining to Medicaid.
  • Create and upkeep informative lists related to Medicaid residents and current and future applicants, and communicate status of cases and issues
  • Other projects and general duties as assigned
  • Assist with documenting Medicaid policies and procedures and ensure those are followed

Pay: $24 - 26 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person
