The Finance Director will be responsible for the financial analysis, reporting and forecasting for cardbrand association expenses, supporting the Merchant Solutions segment world-wide. They will be the main point of contact for interchange and cardbrand expense trends, billing strategy, upcoming changes, and system implementations world-wide. This is the single largest expense at Global Payments, and this position will be key in deep analysis and interpretation of these expenses. This position will be managing a team of analysts specializing in Visa, Mastercard, and other associations (AmEx, Discover, Girocard, etc.). They will direct data gathering and analysis, and consolidate the cardbrands into overall results and forecasts to be shared cross-org. They will also be responsible for cross-org coordination on changes, issues implementation and communication. This role will also require a deep understanding of the financial systems being used at Global Payments. Responsibilities Developing a new team and finance function that does not exist today Hire and manage a team of analysts to leverage their association specific-knowledge to perform analyses world-wide Interpret deeply detailed results into nuanced, easily understood executive reporting Foster and maintain relationships with Compliance, Accounting, Systems and Operations teams Deliver driver-based forecast trends to finance that can easily layer onto existing forecasting and budgeting Manage monthly and quarterly reporting to cardbrands like FANF, BIN volumes, etc. Identify and close gaps between system estimates and actual expenses, report on the gap and its closure Assist in special ad-hoc analyses Assist with executive level presentations Minimum Qualifications 5-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A Exposure to Corporate Accounting Ability to communicate financial information to a non financial audience in a meaningful and actionable way Must be able to present information to various levels of the company providing appropriate level of detail and presentation dependent on audience Bachelors degree with a major in Finance, Economics or related disciplines required. Masters degree or MBA is preferred Revenue forecasting experience preferred. Expert knowledge in Excel with proficiency in PowerPoint, and Word required (Google Sheets is a plus). Experience in playing a role in analyzing a highly complex business. Strong interpersonal, presentation and technical skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple transactions / tasks under tight deadlines and pressure. Ability to drive innovation and business improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people with varying degrees of financial exposure. The US base salary for this full-time position is $150,000 to $190,000 + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
