Job Title: Finance Director Dorchester County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs agency is seeking to hire a Finance Director. This person will ensure that the agency operates in a fiscally sound manner, with a financial system that supports the accomplishment of the agency mission and meets funding and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Supervises all finance department staff and the overall operation of the finance department.

Monitors the finance assistant's preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Prepares quarterly payroll tax returns for all entities.

Reconciles general ledger accounts to bank statements.

Supervises purchasing process and client funds account reconciliations.

Prepares journal entries and monthly and quarterly financial statements for the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

Prepares annual program budgets and financial information requested by auditors for annual reviews.

Manages updates of various policies pertaining to financial matters. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting Experience: Minimum three (3) years' experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
