VISION: Expansionary hire. Support two established and profitable business holdings in hospitality and commercial real estate. Key Finance role will support two Palm Beach area entities within their real estate holdings serving as liaise with CFO and corporate accounting. Hands-on Finance Director with support all FP&A, modeling, accounting, systems, and analytical areas. Must have an ability to lead and critique entity performance results focusing on operational analysis details so you can best explain what's behind the numbers.

OPPORTUNITY: Report to VP Controller, Real Estate and General Manager while interfacing with CFO, corporate accounting, banks, tax, insurance, legal, and local operations. Analyze and review day-to-day accounting, financial statements, fixed assets, internal controls, policies and procedures, expense trending and variance analysis. Develop Excel models, financial analysis, variance/trending analysis, rolling forecasts, annual operating/capital budgets, KPI metrics, and cash flow/management reports. Responsibilities include:
- Partner with VP, Corporate Accounting Commercial Real Estate and team in review of day to day financial results for two entities with sales of $18M-22M each. Interface with operations and facilities management.
- Liaise with corporate finance/accounting utilizing computer systems for reservations, sales, and accounting financial reports. Share financial reports and analysis with Corporate Controller, CEO and CFO.
- Analyze P&L by property and complete variance trending analysis, A vs. B results, and forecasts.
- Support General Managers and staff with responsibility to maintain a world class hospitality/RE property focused on exceptional customer service.
- Review in and out bound cash transactions (i.e., cash receipts, cash disbursements, cash management, GL entries, accruals). Monitor cash flow by site/project. Prepare P&L and balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations thru to financial statement preparation.
- Provide corporate with entity forecasts and operating budgets in Excel. Prepare revenues summaries, roll over rate changes/terms and develop supporting schedules by client.
- Special projects focused on policy and procedure modifications and execution, special event planning, metrics analysis, and process improvements maximizing ERP systems and developing operational analytical data.
- Review and handle billing/invoicing in accordance to lease/licensee agreements, guests, and customer contracts. Ensure accurate data collection/reporting in Dockwa, other reservation and food service systems.
- Prepare cash management and related forecasts reviewing credit card fees, point of sales systems, occupancy rates, and inventory of retail/restaurant operations. Deal with credit card companies reviewing fees, completing account reconciliations and generating analysis reports.
- Monitor vendor contracts and ensure compliance to contract terms.
- Work with Corporate VP Real Estate understanding and analyzing all rental agreements and related increases, rental structures, contracts, cost increases, recovery of common area expenses, operating expenses, real estate taxes, fuel, insurance, and utility costs. Oversee myCOI insurance certificates.
- Partner with corporate audit and tax leaders to facilitate annual audits and tax compliance requirements. As needed, propose/review capital expenditures completing ROI and payback analysis.
REQUIREMENTS: CPA/MBA, BS Accounting/Finance with 8+ years' experience gained in hospitality, commercial real estate, hotel, marina, or property management industry. Experience can be gained in private industry or CPA firm. Detailed oriented, organized professional and leader best suited. Solid Excel skills and ERP systems experience (i.e., Timberline, Syteline, MRI Property Management system, Opera, Dockwa, Dining Edge, Data). Ready to hire.
