The Opportunity

We are looking for a Finance Enterprise Partner supporting Pharma Technical (PT) Operations. This position will support the Pharma Tech Operations in Oceanside, CA as well as have the opportunity to make an impact to the broader organization, leading or participating in network-wide initiatives as part of a global finance team.

This position is located in Oceanside, CA and reports to the PT Finance System Enabler in a networked/matrix environment. Our team plays an integral role in the business, delivering high-quality financial insights and providing transparency for decision-making.

Key Finance Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Leadership by providing financial and strategic insights. Across the enterprise, form trusted relationships with key business leaders and help to steer business outcomes.
  • Understand how the site fits into our network and be a catalyst to multiply opportunities across the organization.
  • Understand Finance's unique contribution when translating those key business priorities into financial strategies and outcomes to achieve our 10 years ambitions.
  • Own the Financials though integrating operational knowledge and financial acumen. Understand the key drivers to variances and provide actionable insights that drive performance, influence decision-making.
  • Own and present key financial data and strategies in support of annual planning (OPEX and CAPEX) in alignment with long-term enterprise goals.
  • Apply rigor and business sense to the review of business cases for site and network capital projects.
  • Develop a strong understanding of underlying operational, strategic and financial implications. Enable transparency and ensure decisions are made considering the impact to the broader organization. Provide financial leadership for multi-site projects as required.

  • Enterprise thinker and desire for Finance to be a driving force behind our Pharma ambitions. Hold people accountable for showing up in line with our finance mindsets and behaviors and are committed to break the silos.
  • Broad and deep finance knowledge and business acumen, proven ability to work effectively across multiple business areas, global teams and key leadership areas in a fast-paced VUCA environment.
  • Proven entrepreneur that can participate and take accountability for business priorities and understands the balance of monitoring performance, influencing priorities and leveraging data and facts to support business decisions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
  • 7+ years of relevant finance experience - at least four years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes desired.
  • Consistent track record influencing and building consensus within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to effectively synthesize large quantities of data/inputs and reflect them in a clear and concise manner – driving good decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational agility and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent business and financial acumen - consistently demonstrating managerial courage to ensure optimal business results.
  • Understand production cost accounting.
  • MBA Preferred.
