Global Corporate & Investment Bank Finance Team Mission:- Be a trusted advisor to the GCIB Americas management team
- Establish and maintain financial discipline across budgeting, forecasting and reporting of GCIB Americas
- Analyze financial performance to optimize resource deployment, including capital, liquidity & expense dollars
- Advise CEO/CFO/Product Heads on areas of growth and investment for the business Background and Responsibilities
- Analyze and present business performance: revenue, spreads, expenses, balance sheet and returns
- Work with business and finance teams to ensure accuracy of actuals and generate timely/detailed/accurate forecasts/budgets and resulting variance analysis
- Work with Product Groups to generate forecast and budgets
- Build a comprehensive monthly package and present to management
- Process improvements for data attribution, forecast model, financials and monthly walks
- Regular collaboration with the product finance teams and central finance
Skills/Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial services / related industry
- Effective presentation & written communication skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented self-starter
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint; ability to model and create complex spreadsheets, look up tables, pivot tables and understand/analyze the results
- Knowledge of Hyperion is preferred
The typical base pay range for this role is between $98K - $121K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
