Job Description: Summary:This role is responsible for compiling financial data and assisting in the preparation of financial presentations, financial reports and financial statements used to monitor and measure business activity within the limits of established practices, policies, and procedures. This role performs financial analysis and assists in complex financial analysis for supervisory review throughout the organization. This role leads initiatives, partners with senior leadership and is cross divisional while supporting the Finance division strategic activities and specified business initiatives.Essential Accountabilities: Gathers financial data from a variety of sources to prepare financial presentations, financial reports, financial statements, and analysis for management review. Collaborates with internal partners to assist in proper management of financial activity such as month end close. Evaluates financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Collaborates with key partners and prepares financial analysis to assist in development of appropriate commentary within a multifaceted financial story. Develops and analyses of supporting financial schedules, including preparation of worksheets, maintenance of appropriate backup and documentation for internal control and auditing purposes. Assists in development and coordination of the annual comprehensive Finance calendar on behalf of CFO, supporting the Finance division strategic activities and specified business initiatives. Provides strategic partnership in support of financial analysis by providing requirements, testing and leading implementation within organizational initiatives and ad-hoc projects. Identifies, develops and implements process improvement that utilize systems, processes to their full potential. Performs other functions as assigned by management.Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years of related financial experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. In lieu of degree, six (6) years of experience required. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required. Advanced degree or CPA preferred. Strong knowledge and experience and understanding of financial statements and ability to interpret and translate financial information and data to ensure various audiences can understand. Ability in establishing constructure and collaborative relationships with internal and external staff. Inquisitive mindset with a drive for process improvement. Ability to work in an autonomous environment, think critically and manage multiple tasks. Experience in the healthcare or health Insurance industry is preferred.Physical Requirements: Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
