Salary Range: $50 - $80 per hour based on experience Organization: Kai Ming, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides free full-day full-year and full-day part-year services to eligible children ages 0-5 years old in San Francisco, CA with funding primarily from Head Start, the California Department of Education, San Francisco Department of Early Childhood. Report to: Director of Finance Scope of Work
- Supporting the fiscal team to accomplish program goals in various capacities including but not limited to:
- Track & monitor grants and expenditures; provide recommendations and analysis reports based on funding guidelines and organizational goals
- Review daily accounting operation processes and provide recommendations for improvements
- Assess the current Sage Intact Accounting system setup; recommend and implement new configurations as needed
- Develop timelines and oversee the implementation of improvement projects and conduct evaluations
- Other projects or tasks as assigned based on department needs
QualificationsQualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Consultant with experience in Head Start programs will be given preference.
- Experience: Six (6) years of experience working in a non-profit or equivalent environment with at least 3 years at management level preferrable.
