Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager reporting to Senior Vice President Finance & Accounts oversee all financial aspects of business and assist Senior Vice President drive the companys financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company, bringing possible risks and managing surprise free finance function.

Responsibilities:
  • Review / Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, check list and gross margin reports; ensuring full accuracy of financial ledgers on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with full ownership and lead on the monthly book close process.
  • Responsible for Gross to Net Revenue recognition, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting for Net Sales, including reviewing monthly accruals of data fees, inventory management fees, GPO Admin fee, rebates, government chargeback, Medicaid program and sales Returns.
  • Direct company-wide accounting policy to ensure consistent and uniform accounting policies are developed and implemented throughout the Company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Streamline month end close cycle with detailed task checklists which help to detect the bottleneck for the process improvement
  • Support government program pricing, ensuring timely reporting, validating the methodology of calculation, accuracy and accessing the implication of financial impact
  • Lead inventory management, including cost accounting.
  • Manage, direct and oversee the finance team and collaborate with the accounting staff for monthly accounting close and related activities
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team by providing timely and accurate analysis financial reports, and financial trends to assist Senior Vice President Finance.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables cycle in consultation with third party service provider.
  • Manage Accounts Payable cycle by closely monitoring back office activities.
  • Coordinate with the Companys external auditors, overseeing the quarterly financial statement reviews and the year-end audit
  • Take lead in preparation of annual budgets
  • Support Senior Vice President in potential acquisition due diligence.
  • Review and analyze budget to actual results on monthly basis, report to each function.
  • Review and manage clinical trial accruals and payroll related expenses
  • Support price and distribution contracting modeling
  • Supervise, guide and motivate finance and accounting function
  • Be involved in pricing decision for the organization.
  • Review the terms and conditions of agreements with customers and suppliers. Impact analysis of any changes in terms.
  • Track the spend across various ongoing clinical trials against budget, have regular meetings with CROs on review of site budgets and overall spend review.
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

10 or more years accounting experience Experience with Oracle (preferred) Knowledge in Pharma (preferred) Advanced Excel skills (must), ability to work with lookups and pivot tables. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines Analytical ability, a methodical approach and problem solving skills Numeracy and detailed oriented

Education & Experience:

Masters or other advanced degree or CPA preferred.
