Description We are seeking a Finance Manager based in Madison, Connecticut. As part of our team, the Finance Manager will be primarily involved in conducting thorough financial analysis and data modeling. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where the individual will be tasked to handle a revenue analysis project, utilizing historical data to categorize revenue streams. This is a data-intensive role that requires the extensive use of Microsoft Excel for reviewing and analyzing data.Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and data modeling to support business decisions.- Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to review and analyze financial data.- Assist in a revenue analysis project, categorizing revenue streams using historical data.- Evaluate financial information to develop insights that can be used to improve financial performance.- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.- Utilize analytical skills to interpret financial data and draw conclusions.- Develop financial reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to the team.- Work closely with the team to implement strategies based on the financial analysis.- Ensure all financial data and records are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements - Possess strong skills in financial analysis and data analysis.- Proven ability to analyze and interpret revenue streams.- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Proven leadership and management abilities.- High level of integrity and professional ethics.- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.- Advanced degree or professional finance certification is preferred.- Proven experience in a similar finance role.- Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.- Knowledge and experience with financial reporting and tax planning.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
