For more information visit: .Job Overview:We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership oversight, coordination, and planning to execute financial planning processes and ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of financial information for our corporate functions. This role will be focused on functional expense management, closing activities, and forecast/AOP planning. The FP&A Manager - Corporate Functions will partner closely with the VP of FP&A, CHRO, and General Counsel, and other functional leaders to articulate the performance narrative, drive decision-making, and provide financial insights that support long-term goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.Responsibilities:Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.Prepare and present monthly financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.Analyze financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement and presenting actionable recommendations.Collaborate with business units to gather inputs for financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial planning.Partner with human resources, legal, demand generation teams to evaluate new initiatives and investment opportunities, providing financial insights to support decision-making.Support strategic initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost control, and resource allocation.Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies, including capital expenditure planning and investment analysis.Mentor and develop junior FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Manage the FP&A team's workflow and priorities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial insights and reports.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced (such as Master's or MBA) is desired.Position requires 6+ years of diverse financial experience, including financial planning, reporting and analysis, general accounting, cost accounting, and internal controls.Core Competencies:Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Solid financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skills with careful attention to detail.Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, and then summarize and communicate the key messages simply and succinctly to team members at all levels of the organization.Collaborative team player with process improvement mindset.Strong organization and time management skills; able to handle several assignments at one time while working in a metrics organization.Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: HybridWhat we Offer:Our benefits - location dependent (car, annual leave allowance, pension etc), but ALWAYS include Shares options.At Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership - taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and well-being.
