POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership and proactive business partnership for Environmental Solutions Group. The Finance Manager is a key member of the FP&A team in developing, implementing, and evaluating core business strategies. This individual is responsible for the development, preparation, and coordination of the financial reporting and analysis required by management to operate effectively. This function requires well-developed skills in business analysis, process improvement, and research. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change; work effectively within cross-functional teams; will be highly resourceful; able to deliver strong results; have a passion for operational excellence, and possess a strong set of communication and analytical skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
* Perform financial analysis and provide commentary that helps identify performance drivers and root causes of variances to objectives. Interpret operating results and communicate opportunities for improvement to functional budget leads.
* Development of annual and monthly profit plan by preparing department budget templates, reviewing functional budgets for consistency and completion, analyzing spending trends, calculating allocations, coordinating corporate and functional lead inputs and preparing profit plan presentations.
* Perform detailed analyses to identify, analyze, understand, and monitor the organizations key performance indicators.
* Proactively assist in developing projects to identify opportunities for cost savings / profit enhancement, efficiency, and process improvement throughout the organization.
* Supports strategic planning and decision-making by identifying and analyzing key business trends, market segments, and among key customers.
* Creates and provides ad hoc reports to senior managers to evaluate business trends and opportunities in support of various modeling assumptions.
* Seeks ways to improve standard reporting as requested or required.
* Recommends and develops policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
* 4 to 7 years of finance/accounting experience (Manufacturing/Industrial experience a plus).
* Proven experience with extensive financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, budgeting tools.
* Expertise with Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to develop strong partnerships across multiple locations and functions; high degree of comfort operating in a matrix environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in leading change successfully.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.
* Strong business analysis skills and results orientation.
* Ability to identify opportunities for improving financial and business operations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
* Ability to translate a strategic vision into operational improvements.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to drive projects through to completion by involving and persuading others.
* Hyperion experience a plus.
