We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Engineered Wood Products team located in Buckhannon, West Virginia. In this role, you will partner with operations leaders driving operational excellence using problem solving, financial and analytical skills. Our focus is to move beyond finance and planning, providing the right level of information and decision making to execute business strategy and ensure top quartile performance.In this role, your essential functions will be to: Be accountable for all financial aspects of the site Oversee/perform internal controls training and oversight to business partnersPerform all month end closing activitiesDrive the Operational Excellence culture and provide financial supports for the operationsBe present and available for questions, strategic discussions, and ad-hoc coaching sessionsTrain and coach key leaders on mill financialsBe a financial mentor as part of the mentoring programUnderstand complex concepts and know how to communicate them into a simple messageActively participate/lead in continuous improvement initiativesSupervise and coach 2 direct reportsOwn the capital management process, and ensure capital delivers world class resultsDevelop Annual Plans and monthly forecastsSupport the annual roadmap processAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or FinanceFive years of experience in financial or manufacturing operationsComfortable working with sales, operations, finance, and accounting teamsStrong communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage changeWorking knowledge of cost accounting, financial systems, and internal controls Flexible and capable of adapting to different ways of looking at and solving problemsStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Account Principles Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft ExcelSAP experience preferredOur investment in you:Clear and transparent role progression focused on your developmentCompetitive starting salary with annual bonuses via participation in our Annual Incentive PlanDoes this sound like you?
