Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?Summary:Under the direction of Treasury leadership, the Finance Technology Associate will support the success of the Finance software and assist with implementing process improvements. This role will contribute to impactful and meaningful change to processes and the broader organization.Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.•Perform system admin responsibilities for both BlackLine and Kyriba software.•Provide technical support for software, troubleshoot issues and assist with improvements.•Work with the team to identify processes that can be improved with innovation.•Assist with changes to new software to ensure company success.•Collaborate with internal and external teammates to ensure success of improvement initiatives.•Support month end closing and reporting.•Some manual bank reconciliations.•Contribute with the creation and maintenance of procedure manuals and work guides.•Pursues a course of personal, professional development.Additional duties include, but are not limited to, special projects as needed and acting as a backup within the department while maintaining the appropriate separation of duties.The Finance Technology Associate will perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.Competencies:•Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.•Interpersonal skills-the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.•Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.•Written communication-the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.•Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.•Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.•Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.•Safety and security-the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.•Coaching/mentoring-the individual works with team members to help improve their capabilities and performance.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day2.
