A fiinancial management company run by veterans is seeking their next great military veteran hire.In this role, Financial Advisors need strong sales, leadership and entrepreneurial characteristics and demonstrate enthusiasm for the sales process. They are highly motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills. They have the initiative to open doors, bring forth new ideas, and manage multiple business relationships.The candidate will help clients create personal budgets, set goals for saving, and implement strategies for accumulating and managing wealth. You will be interactive and integral in the management of a client's financial assets. You will meet with clients to discuss financial goals, explain services and tools available to grow wealth, recommend investments and develop specific plans to account for specific life events such as retirement, education expenses and relocation. You will consistently monitor client's accounts and be an active member in the investment management process.You must stay current on economic and financial trends, developments in financial products and tax laws and strategies for personal financial management, particularly with respect to retirement plans and estates. Success will require a strong sales desire and a balanced ability to develop and acquire new clients and create new strategies to improve the financial positions of existing clients. You will collaborate with the owners of the firm, initially learning the job and the business, then developing your own client relationships. You will have the opportunity to set the direction for the future success of the company.To accommodate client's schedules, you must be available for meetings and telephone consultations in the evenings and on weekends. During your first 6 months, you will be expected to prepare for and pass all applicable state and federal securities and insurance licensing exams.
