Financial Advisor | Burlington or Torrington, CT (remote possibility) A leading financial advisory and portfolio management firm, committed to delivering prudent financial advice and personalized wealth management solutions, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Financial Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing their own book of business, fostering long-term client relationships, and providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice. Responsibilities: Proactively prospect, cultivate, and manage your own book of business by seeking new client opportunities through networking, community engagement, and marketing initiatives Develop and implement firm-wide marketing and prospecting strategies to generate leads and attract new clients. Conduct discovery meetings to assess clients' financial goals and present customized solutions tailored to their needs Confidently explain the benefits of the firm's fee-only, fiduciary model to prospective clients, effectively communicating the firm's value proposition Collaborate with the team to prepare and present comprehensive financial plans, investment strategies, and portfolio management services Act as a trusted representative of the firm within the community, serving as a resource and advocate for the firm's services Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice and recommendations to clients Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 1+ year of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field Experience in a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm is preferred Series 65 or 66 license required (or willingness to obtain if holding other securities licenses) Master's degree, MBA, CFP designation, or additional financial credentials are preferred Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial planning principles, and market dynamics Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships Strong work ethic, self-management abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a goal-oriented environment Target base salary is $60-80k + bonus and revenue sharing. This figure can vary depending on factors such as skillset and experience level.
