Job Summary:
As a Financial Advisor (Servicing Advisor), you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients. This role focuses on managing ongoing client needs, conducting portfolio reviews, addressing financial planning inquiries, implementing investment strategies, and supporting clients through life changes. Additionally, you will have opportunities to attend and present at financial seminars and events to educate clients and prospects, while collaborating with senior advisors and operational teams to ensure an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, addressing their ongoing financial planning and investment needs.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with client goals and risk tolerance.
- Proactively reach out to clients to address changes in their financial situations or market conditions.
2. Financial Planning Support:
- Collaborate with senior advisors to prepare and deliver comprehensive financial plans.
- Assist clients with navigating complex financial decisions, including retirement planning, estate considerations, and tax-efficient strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of each client's financial goals and provide tailored recommendations.
3. Investment Implementation:
- Implement and monitor investment strategies in accordance with the firm's guidelines and client objectives.
- Assist clients with understanding portfolio allocations, performance metrics, and adjustments as needed.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of trades and account changes.
4. Client Education and Seminar Participation:
- Attend and present at client seminars, educational events, and community outreach programs to share insights and strengthen relationships.
- Provide clear and insightful explanations of financial concepts, investment strategies, and economic updates to clients and audiences.
- Develop client-facing presentations and materials to enhance understanding of their financial progress.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior advisors and operational staff to deliver an integrated client experience.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing updates on client interactions and insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client service standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in financial planning, advisory, or wealth management.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) required; CFP® designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in financial planning software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred experience with eMoney, BlackDiamond, and Holistiplan.
