Job DescriptionWentworth is seeking a Financial Aid Counselor to join the Financial Aid team as soon as possible.Under the direction of the Director of Financial Aid Outreach and Financial Wellness, the Financial Aid Counselor will be responsible for supporting and guiding students and families through the Financial Aid process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with students and families through the review of financial aid applications
- Awarding federal, state, and institutional aid according to Title IV regulations and institutional guidelines
- Serving as a main point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries
- Providing information about Wentworth and federal policies to students and families.
Minimum Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree and experience working in a financial aid office or higher education environment.
- Knowledge of federal and college financial aid policies and procedures.
- Customer service oriented
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, and PC applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ellucian Banner experience.
