Job Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversee day-to-day management of the Finance area of the Customer Service and Operations areas, including Month-End Closing, Financial Statement Review/Analysis, Budgeting/Forecasting/Financial/Operation Reporting, and new process and report development.
- Partner with key business stakeholders and business user teams.
- Compile and review financial information to prepare and execute entries to general ledger accounts.
- Act as the financial liaison between the NSO and NY Finance groups.
- Ensure compliance with the company's accounting policies/procedures (including SOX).
- Monitor actual expenses and report material trends and variance. Assist in developing, recommending, and implementing corrective action when appropriate.
- Create ad hoc reports that provide cost information to management not supplied by the general accounting system as required.

- Review business practices and processes, creating partnerships with both business client and program management peers to drive alignment of business strategy, business processes, and supporting solutions.
- Lead project improvement initiatives as required.
- Must be able to independently communicate with the user community, using advanced verbal and written communications skills including facilitation leadership and presentation development.
- Document system processes, reports, and system functionality.
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting/Business required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance or Accounting required.
- Previous knowledge/experience with general cost accounting and financial reporting required.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is a plus.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Analytical/organizational skills with sound problem resolution, negotiation, judgment, and decision-making skills required.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion/SmartView preferred.
- Strong technical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and database management software required.
- Ability to excel in business situations by adapting plans and approaches as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels required.
