Financial AnalystSHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.This position is part of our Advanced Safety and User Experience segment (AS&UX).Summary:The role of a Financial Analyst, Global Product Organization is to provide business insights to Finance Management and business oversight/guidance to Global Product's Managing Directors, VPs, and their respective teams. This role will support a newly formed, rapidly expanding business unit within Aptiv with the vision to become a leading software and technology product organization which accelerates the autonomous driving experience.Responsibilities:
Support the forecast and budgeting process, including analyzing variations from budget. Work closely with various competencies to analyze product financials. Proactively work with other competencies to achieve short term and long term financial targets. Perform risk & opportunity analyses and provide potential solutions. Work with program teams to develop recovery plans. Lead development of engineering business plan/budget and forecast, including improving process efficiencies by developing financial models and reporting dashboards. Support Global Product leadership team with financial modeling and analysis to drive short term and long term strategic investments. Assist Sr. Finance Director and Finance Manager in preparing financial charts and analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews with segment CFO. Provide guidance to project competencies to achieve key performance metrics. Maintain and understand key performance indicators. Support Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.Basic Qualifications: BS Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related. 2+ years of financial analysis experience required. Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling and analysis skills. Strong understanding of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow. Ability to create ad-hoc financial analysis and generate daily and monthly reports. Must be a local resident with ability to be present on site. Demonstrated leadership, teamwork & communication (written and verbal) skills. Fluent in English, any other language is a plus. Excellent use of MS Office and in particular Excel & PowerPoint. ** Candidates must be legally able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship or transfer now or at any time in the future.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
