ABOUT THE ROLE
The Financial Analyst II will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Mergers & Acquisitions and will be primarily responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analyses. The Financial Analyst II will also be assigned to various projects in an execution role that require collaboration with various departments (most notably Operations, Accounting, Fleet, and IT).

Essential Functions
- Maintain current planning and analysis tools used by executive management to establish goals and measure performance
- Prepare reports in support of board meetings and quarterly senior leadership meetings
- Perform routine and complex financial analyses and modeling to support strategic growth initiatives as assigned by the Director of FP&A/M&A or designee
- Assist in the development of financial analysis and evaluation support for M&A activities
- Assist in the development of financial models forecasting future business results
- Prepare quarterly KPI Reports with narrative support for Executive Leadership Team
- Work with Director of FP&A/M&A to develop stronger performance metrics and trending
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses for Chief Financial Officer and Director of FP&A/M&A or designee as requested
- Research broader economic conditions and incorporate findings into financial models
- May review the work of other employee(s)

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressively-responsible experience in finance or related field
- Current progress towards, or desire to participate in the CFA Institute, Chartered Financial Analyst program or other relevant finance/accounting professional designation
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- CFA, MBA or other relevant finance/accounting professional designation preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $80,000-$95,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
