You will receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.The Financial Analyst III provides Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics, and standard or ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the organization.A caregiver in this position works days, from 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Prepare, analyze, and communicate key financial information.Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance, and financial planning processes.Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies, and procedures.Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting, and conflict resolution as assigned.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.Three years of financial OR revenue cycle management OR general analytical experience.OR Master's degree and two years of experience.OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may substitute one year of required experience.Can complete complex analytical, consultative, and information support through analysis and report preparation.Can prepare and file Medicare and Medicaid cost reports on a timely and accurate basis.Can prepare interim cost reports for internal reporting needs.Can manage all external third-party audits of information filed.Has current knowledge of third-party regulations.Can use the cost reports for obtaining requested information and as an analytical tool.Can maintain an acceptable level of operational knowledge for assigned hospitals, keeps informed of changes, and proposes cost report handling.Assists on compliance issues as required.Assists with third-party estimates for financial statements.Comprehensive understanding of the following:Trial balance mapping and reconciliations.Statistics and cost allocation.PSR and cost reports settlements.Medicare DSH.Medicare BD.Wage Index.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Master's degree.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.Healthcare experience.Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
