By joining us as a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and external reporting processes.In this capacity, you will play a key role in coordinating financial reporting and preparing budgets across various departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.   • Coordinate and assist with financial data reporting, including monthly actuals, profit review, and the quarterly President's Operating Report (POR).
  • Prepare and manage budgets for various departments, plants, and foreign business units, ensuring accurate monthly updates and variance analysis.
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, perform freight reporting, and assist in the annual budget preparation process.
  • Post journal entries for financial reports, including freight, warranty, export sales, customer rebates, and accruals for MFG and SG&A budgets.
  • Collaborate with department contacts to communicate budget performance, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide instructions for month-end close processes.
  • Handle ad hoc reports, financial reviews, and process improvement initiatives as requested.
Who You Are:You demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and reporting (Manages Complexity). You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and department heads to align financial objectives (Interpersonal Savy). You are meticulous with details, ensuring precise account reconciliations and variance analyses (Ensures Accountability). You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments, responding well to dynamic business needs (Action Oriented).Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of three years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle (Hyperion) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Willingness to work the night shift.
