Position Summary The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing budget, forecast and actual results, and providing guidance for organizational decision making. The Financial Analyst will work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the CFO. Duties/Responsibilities Consolidate and analyze financial data (budget, income statement forecasts, etc.) considering company's goals and financial standing. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis to support organizational decision making. Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Improves financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management. Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts. Develop and maintain cash forecast model. Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function. Protects company by keeping financial information confidential. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. Maintain electronic and physical filing systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Vista, preferred but not required. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to identify data patterns. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Travel Minimal travel may be required.
