Join our team and start your journey today! As a Financial Analyst, you will:
  • Evaluate capital investment requests including coordinating with project owners on resolution of questions and issues, review financial calculations, determine workflow, and submit appropriation for approval using Copeland's automated workflow.
  • Analyze actual results and provide management with insight to the drivers of variances versus expectations.
  • Interact with company leadership on analysis of capital projects
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of amortization and depreciation forecasts that align with capital plans.
  • Support the preparation of key planning processes including the Quarterly Commitment Review (QCR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plant (LRP), and other business review meetings.
  • Participate in department and/or cross-functional projects and provide other ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Maintain all support resources for the Capital process including the SharePoint and Teams on-line site, training documentation, approval levels and all Appropriation Request forms.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of linked spreadsheets, data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
  • Must have strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Hyperion Financial Management experience
  • Oracle experience
