EMCOR represents a rare combination of broad reach with local execution, combining the strength of an industry leader with the knowledge and care of 170 locations.Job Title: -- Financial AnalystJob Summary: --Conducts in-depth financial analyses of operating activities, capital investments, cash flows, and business acquisitions, as well as assists in the coordination, administration, and enhancement of financial and operating budgets and forecasts. Responsible for completion of business and financial analyses on moderate to highly complex business development/acquisition projects. Analyzes past and present financial data of organization to assist in estimating future revenues, expenditures, and cash flows.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct financial and business research and analysis, including the preparation of presentations, reports, graphs, and charts.Review financial and business-related analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, working capital, and investment.Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, both for the corporate entity, as well as the consolidated organization.Support and contribute to preparation of financial components of Company business plans, financial evaluations, and forecasts.Provide in-depth analysis of operational performance of consolidated entity and individual segments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Prepare various financial statement account analysis and/or reconciliations.Assist in reviewing companies for possible acquisitions, including gathering business and financial information on companies and industries, analyzing historical financial performance, and building projections based on industry trends and the competitive position of the Company, and developing valuation ranges.Analyze operating results, primarily financial performance, to highlight any major event or deviation, and show the potential impact on future operations.Assist in preparing financial reports and presentation materials for internal and external meetings.Analyze and evaluate financial and operating implications of financial data and communicate observations related to business processes and profitability.Assist with special projects and reports as needed.Qualifications: --Degree in accounting, finance, or other related field required. MBA or MSA preferred.Three years of relevant experience.Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to independently analyze financial data.Demonstrated ability to distill and depict financial information.Successful experience working on a team; strong interpersonal skills.Notice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
