We're looking for an Entry-Level Financial Operations Analyst to support our financial processes, reporting functions, and operational efficiency. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth execution of financial operations, support process improvements, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capital Solutions Financial Operations: Lead in the execution of financial transactions related to our capital solutions processes, including pricing, transferring funds, foreign exchange spot trades and forwards, invoicing and collections, and internal and external reporting of our weekly and monthly activities.
  • Financial Process Management: Assist with the financial close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual), including reconciliations, journal entries, and process improvements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the finance and trade team to streamline financial operations and optimize workflows, ensuring processes are aligned with the company's growth and operational goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and analyze financial data to generate reports, track key performance metrics, and provide insights into the company's operational and financial health.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering financial data, monitoring spending, and identifying areas for operational cost savings.
  • Internal Controls: Help maintain and improve internal controls by monitoring financial transactions, ensuring adherence to policies, and supporting compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends across financial and operational activities, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to align financial operations with the company's broader goals, ensuring accurate data flow between teams and efficient process management.
  • Audit Support & Compliance: Assist with audits by preparing documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and supporting the controller team with audit preparation.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc operational and financial analysis, addressing specific inquiries from the finance or leadership team as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail, and complete follow-through on all transactional processes.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting processes, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, financial modeling) and familiarity with financial software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a collaborative mindset.
  • Prior experience or internships in financial operations, accounting, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation: This role comes with a competitive base salary ranging from $60,000 – 75,000 plus exciting opportunities for commission and stock options
