Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Completes activities for the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close that includes journal entries, financial statement reviews, ensuring compliance with accounting principles; and preparing month-end reports including analysis of major cost drivers.Supports finance team in preparing annual business plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly closing and current view projections.Performs balance sheet reconciliations, and supports ad-hoc requests such as cash flow, budgeting, accounting reserves, and audit support.Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with at least 3 years of professional experience.Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.Able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
