Paramount delivers the largest share of the U.S. television audience and boasts one of the industry's most important and extensive libraries of TV and film titles.Overview & Responsibilities:This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of a Cash Management strategy & supporting processes in conformity with Paramount Global and industry best practices.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support planning activities for Filmed Entertainment, including coordination with Business Units to prepare the Long Range Plan, annual Budget, forecast updates, and various ad hoc analyses
- Assist with maintaining the company wide cash planning model
- Coordinate with Business Units to prepare the annual P&L and Cash Budget and monthly updates, as well as various ad hoc analyses
- Liaise with Accounting and Treasury groups to plan and report actual cash flow on a monthly basis
- Coordinate with Business Units to collect summaries and explanations of actual and forecast results
- Identify opportunities to streamline data-gathering and forecasting processes
- Assist in the management of risks and opportunities to achieve P&L and cash flow targets
- Maintain and Prepare Physical and Digital Transactional Cash Forecasting Model
- Assist in the consolidation and preparation of the rolling 8 week cash forecast including actuals reconciliation and variance analysis
- Assist in preparation of any ad hoc materials as requested by the parent company or internal managementBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3+ years of experience in a finance planning environmentAdditional Qualifications:
- Strong financial modeling Excel capabilities and understanding of financial statements
- Proficient in Excel & Powerpoint
- Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interface with various professionals at all levels
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Team-player with a demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment
- Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred!Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
