Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rebate Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role is focused on vendor rebates, margin analysis, merchandising fund management, and forecasting. Key Responsibilities:
- Rebate Management:
- Analyze and manage vendor rebate responsibilities from a forecasting perspective.
- Handle month-end rebate income forecasting and reporting.
- Work with the SAP rebate tool (Vistex) to manage rebate-related processes (training provided).
Merchandising Fund Oversight:
- Track and manage merchandising funds for leaders, ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Collaborate with business partners to maintain and update merchandising fund data, which supports promotional activities and planning.
Forecasting and Planning:
- Conduct weekly and monthly financial forecasting related to rebates and merchandising funds.
- Support leaders in leveraging financial tools and funds to achieve business objectives.
Collaboration and Maintenance:
- Partner with various business teams to maintain accurate data and ensure efficient processes.
- Provide training and guidance on rebate tools and processes to team members.
Technical Skills:
- Excel Expertise: Proficient in Excel for rebate tracking and analysis (essential).
- SQL Knowledge (Preferred): Experience or willingness to learn SQL to support the transition of rebate data into SQL and Tableau.
- Tableau (Preferred): Experience in creating dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Familiarity with SAP rebate tools (Vistex) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles focused on forecasting, planning, or rebate management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
