POSITION OVERVIEW & PURPOSE The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and support Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors with strategic vision and approach to drive business performance and support decision-making processes. *Awesome opportunity to work with a PE backed, high performing start-up company in a remote capacity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic initiatives.
    • Analyze financial data related to telecom operations and identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
    • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
    • Provide variance analysis and identify areas for cost control and operational efficiency improvements.
    • Leverage telecom industry knowledge to evaluate financial implications of market trends and regulatory changes.
    • Develop strategies to enhance financial performance within the telecom sector.
    • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create complex financial models, scenarios, and simulations.
    • Automate processes and develop tools to streamline financial analysis and reporting tasks.
    • Support operational teams by providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize business processes.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects to align financial goals with operational strategies.
    • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial forecasts, risk assessments, and performance analysis.
    • Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities and financial impact assessments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
    • In-depth understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and business operations.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of telecom industry standards, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
    • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the telecom sector.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights for business improvements.
    • Mastery in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and automation of financial processes.
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Capability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and manage ambiguity.
    • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the long-term financial goals of the organization.
    • Capacity to lead and influence decision-making processes with data-driven insights.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
    • MBA with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Candidates with a strong academic background and demonstrated financial acumen will be given preference.
    • 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the telecom industry.
    • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
    • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of the telecom industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and operational processes.
    • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
    • Candidates with a strong academic background and demonstrated financial acumen will be given preference.
    • Certification in financial analysis or accounting, such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    • Experience working in a startup.
