Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, the Financial analyst (FA) will report to supervisor of Post Award within the Radiology Research Post Award Team. The FA is responsible for the monitoring and review of all financial activities and grants management oversight as related to their Principal Investigator Portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, sponsored projects management, preparation and set up, and preparation and closeout of grant accounts. The FA will be responsible for monthly reporting and ad-hoc projects.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Daily financial management of all grant accounts within Radiology Post Award Division
    • Liaison between PI and SPA and sponsor on any pending documents
    • Liaison between SPA and sponsor on any pending documents
    • Prepare and distribute monthly reports to senior leadership
    • Facilitate closeout of grant accounts to sponsor
    • Assist investigators with all sponsor audits/questions; process ad documentation
    • Prepare and submit sponsor reports
    • Review and approve all purchases. Assist, as necessary, with justification of purchases on grant accounts
    • Review time and effort allocation with all grant related personnel and assist with effort certification
    • Reallocate and process personnel effort onto and off grant accounts
    • Prepare project budgets for newly awarded grants, including subcontract arrangements
    • Send out terms of award notices to investigators and compliance staff to ensure study is compliant with terms
    • Prepare financial portfolios for investigators (financial summary and detailed financial statements with projections)

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination

Superior communication skills both written and verbal

Possess strong customer service and problem solving skill sets

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $71,550.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
