Job DetailsJob LocationPoplar Bluff Oak Grove Branch - Poplar Bluff, MOPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionPRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOBThis position provides administrative support to the clients and Financial Advisors in the department. The position entails providing general office support, clerical duties and other similar tasks, such as: scheduling, organization of meetings, data entry and preparation/review of correspondence. The team member would also train with and shadow a Registered Financial Assistant.EXPECTATIONS OF ALL SOUTHERN BANK TEAM MEMBERS

  • Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Data entry and upkeep of department database of clientele and referral sources;
  • Open new customer accounts as needed, and communicate with customers as necessary;
  • Frequent communication with financial advisors, bank representatives and other via email and phone;
  • Provide a cordial initial contact with all clients, customers and guests who come in or call;
  • Manage multiple calendars, marketing materials, out-bound mail, in-bound mail distribution and updating of account information;
  • Tracking marketing materials as they go through the compliance process;
  • Provide wealth management clients with a compelling service experience utilizing the digital tools available through Ameriprise including the online experience, Mobile App, Mobile Deposit, EFile Delivery, Box for Ameriprise and E Signature;
  • Utilize the Ameriprise Client Relationship Management system to create eMeetings, email campaigns, Calendar and events;
  • Manage Ameriprise Marketing on Demand, Go Social campaigns and create fresh content for Advisor and Wealth Management websites and social media sites like Facebook and LinkedIn;
  • Assist in Annual Client Reviews by creating documents and gathering financial data. Collect personal financial data from clients to create financial plans through MoneyGuide Pro, NaviPlan and other financial planning software;
  • Plan client events and assist with the marketing department with event marketing collateral.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

  • Highly self-motivated, creative, decisive. Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients needs and issues. Excellent customer service skills;
  • Proficient with the complete Microsoft Office 2010 including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.;
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Professional demeanor;
  • Ability and experience articulating complex and in-depth concepts.

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry or related business preferred
  • Experience problem solving and resolving escalated issues.
  • Experience in high-stress, deadline-driven environment preferred.
