Job Description:

As a Financial Associate, you'll be supporting the financial controls of the company while managing transactional and client facing activities. Reporting directly to the CFO and working alongside the company controller, your work will be invaluable in ensuring the financial plumbing of the business operates efficiently and accurately. This role is also instrumental in working alongside our overseas admins to support department and broader company needs.

This is a hybrid role (3 days in office and up to 2 days work from home per week) in our newly renovated office in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Manage transactional entries into company accounting software.
  • Prepare and execute on internal audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of internal data.
  • Support cross departmental initiatives with reporting and quantitative analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years in a financial, accounting or similar role
  • Basic understanding of accounting, finance or economics (school or professional experience)
  • Intermediate level excel skills (formulas, V/H lookup, pivot tables), Google Sheets experience a plus
  • High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy
  • Collect, process, analyze and present business data to help the company make informed decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members across departments
