Genius Talent has partnered with a leading family-owned multi-industry organization seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Business Analyst to join their small, dynamic office. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple industries, including franchise operations, apartment leasing, and construction. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for budgeting, cost analysis, process implementation, and overseeing financial systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial platforms like QuickBooks and Excel and will contribute to rent management platform implementation. The position is primarily in-office, with M-F 8am-4pm working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze budgets, perform cost analysis, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Manage and maintain financial systems, including franchise-related financial platforms, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Lead the implementation of rent management platforms
- Assist in process improvements and optimization of financial workflows
- Collaborate across teams and industries (franchise operations, apartment leasing, and construction)
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and support audit preparations
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting technology team member
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial systems
- Experience in rent management platform implementation is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small, collaborative office environment
