Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Financial Coordinator for the Valve Clinic, you will be responsible for collecting financial and insurance information from heart failure and managed care patients, verifying coverage, and obtaining required pre-certifications prior to procedures. You will act as a resource to medical directors, admitting, and finance, and communicate with insurance case managers. You will counsel patients on financial issues surrounding inpatient and outpatient care, and will communicate patient financial status with all involved parties in the process.
