Job Description : This co-worker will be responsible for using Loss Prevention and Risk Management tools to help protect Kwik Trip's assets and guests Regular tasks include:

  • Analyzing transactions and tracking fraudulent activity for all stores through analyzing reports and data
  • Defining opportunities and problems, establishing facts, and making valid conclusions.
  • Communicating with internal departments, stores, and law enforcement through e-mail, mailings, meetings, and reports of emerging trends and fraud ring activity
  • Pulling video, pictures, receipts, and other documents for legal cases as necessary
  • Compiling documents and filing required paperwork to request restitution from fraud, property damage, theft, and robberies for all Kwik Trip, Inc locations
  • Properly coding restitution checks that are received
  • Data entry for new fraud accounts
  • Provide fraud risk recommendations and training to retail stores
  • Provide quality guest service to all non-cash guests
  • Maintain fraud risk rules and monitoring transactions in fraud reduction software
  • Sending legal notices to accounts with returns or high balances
  • Maintaining files for collection data, uploading documents to electronic databases, and assisting with address/phone updates
  • Assist audit team with investigations and recommendations
  • Representing Kwik Trip, Inc. in court, in person or electronically for required appearances associated with fraud cases worked.
  • Recommend actions to mitigate identified risks, including account closures or additional due diligence checks
Qualifications:
  • Educational background normally attained through the completion of an Associates degree
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively with guests and/or coworkers where strong interpersonal skills are required
  • Knowledge of AS/400 system, skip tracing sites, SAP, and collection software is a plus
  • Knowledge of court hearing processes and legal structure
  • Prior experience with video and recording systems
  • Strong time management, judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of up-and-coming payment methods and processing
  • Self-directed and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Guest service and proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
