Job Description:
The role of a Financial Data Coordinator , particularly one that emphasizes data entry and a comprehensive understanding of the financial system, is multifaceted and requires a blend of technical skills, diligence, and financial acumen. The primary responsibility is to ensure that financial data is accurately and efficiently entered into the firm's financial system. This involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the maintenance of the firm's financial integrity and the support of its financial operations. Verify the accuracy of financial data received from various sources, which could include electronic data imports, emails, or other notification sources. Once verified, the data must be logged into the financial system, ensuring that all necessary fields are updated correctly. Actively monitor channels of communication to identify and retrieve any missing information or to seek clarification on ambiguous data. Cross-training in different databases used by the firm. This involves learning the significance of variance data fields, understanding how they affect financial reports and operations and knowing how to use them effectively. Maintain a satisfactory level of quality and productivity in their work. This means consistently meeting the firm's standards for data accuracy and timeliness, while managing a reasonable volume of data entry tasks. Experience with Aderant Expert is preferred. Effective communication, research and presentation skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines. Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues when necessary. Motivated and meticulous with a willingness to learn and improve. Works well in a team and in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (nonexempt) Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
