Our Financial Institutions practice delivers tax solutions to a variety of clients in the banking, fintech, and digital currency space. We are adding talented team members to our 70+ department with corporate tax and ASC 740 (income tax provision) experience as we continue to expand our service offerings and deliver high-quality service to our clients. If you value the challenge and opportunity to work with a high-performing group then this is the position for you!As a SeniorManager in our Financial Institutions Tax practice, you will have the opportunity to:Prepare and review corporate income tax provisions under ASC 740Review and/or prepare corporate tax returnsConduct tax research and provide guidance and consultation to clientsIdentify and implement tax planning and tax savings strategiesCollaborate and engage in large projectsManage and foster existing client tax relationships through client deliverables and a hands-on consultative approachMentor and develop interns, staff, and senior staff while promoting a highly interactive team environmentManage multiple engagements at onceRequired Qualifications:Previous experience with Corporation taxation, tax provision experience, ASC 740 (FAS 109) requiredPrevious banking experience requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredActive CPA license or EA + Masters in Taxation or JD/LLM requiredA minimum of seven (7) years' experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend especially from a large CPA firmAbility to grow strong client relationshipsHybrid preferred; Open to remote as wellStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent project management and time management skillsTax research skillsAbout the Team: The Tax team at Crowe develops lasting relationships with clients by providing value, knowledge, and strategic focus. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
