Summary The position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Consolidated Patient Accounts Center (MACPAC) in Asheville, NC in the organization of the Chief Finance Office (CFO) serving as a Financial Account Specialist. The MACPAC is a regionally consolidated business entity established to enhance revenue operations throughout the VHA network with the standardization and consolidation of functions and the integration of VHA and industry best practices. Responsibilities Area of Consideration (AOC): 1st AOC: Current permanent VA employees of Station 730 & 637 and its satellite locations. 2nd AOC: All other current permanent VA employees. The duties include, but are not limited to: Implements aspects of financial analysis on patient account activities for CPAC clients. Provides guidance to management on activities involved in analyzing the fiscal position of each CPAC client. Responsible for end-to-end ownership of patient account financial analysis activities. Works with CPAC clients to ensure the delivery of effective reporting solutions that bring value to end users. Develops ad hoc financial, statistical and performance reports. Provides services in accordance with the provisions of Service Level Agreements. Protects data from unauthorized release or deletion.
